How To Live Full Of Piety And Abundance Through Daily Routine Sunnahs
“Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O
you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant
him] peace.” (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:56)
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon one, is one of the greatest men to
have walked the face of the Earth. A humanitarian and benefactor, at heart, he was the
channel who imparted guidance from our Creator to us. Prophet Muhammed, peace and
blessings be upon him, taught us how to lead a pious life. By following his sayings,
teachings and his actions, we can only hope to improve our lives in the Dunya and the
hereafter.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever revives my Sunnah then
he has loved me. And whoever loved me, he shall be with me in Paradise.” (Tirmidhi)
Here are five simple Sunnahs that you can implement in your daily routine for maximum
rewards and abundance.
Start off by praising your Creator and showing gratitude to set the tone for the rest of the
day. According to the Sunnah, you should recite:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
“Alhamdu Lillahil-Lathee Ahyana BaAAda Ma Amatana Wa-Ilayhin-Nushoor.”
English translation: All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us
and unto Him is the resurrection.
Instead of wasting your time waiting for the adhan to finish, try to listen to it carefully and
reply to it. Not only will Allah (SWT) reward you for it, but doing so will also strengthen
your Imaan by encouraging you to complete your prayers on time.
3. Recite “Bismillah” Before Starting A New Task
Whether entering your home or starting your meal, praising Allah (SWT) and beginning
any action with His Holy Name will bring prosperity and attract abundance.
one of the greatest Sunnahs.
According to Abu Umamah, The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
said, “Whoever recites the verse of the Throne (Ayat-ul-Kursi) after every prescribed
prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except
death.” (Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 7406, Sahih)
along with Surah al-Kafirun, Surah al-Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Naas, Allah
(SWT) will protect you from Shaitaan and his evil tactics all night long. Doing so will
ensure that we are in a state of cleanliness and spiritual piety, thereby converting our
time sleeping into acts of Ibadah.
“Whoever recites the two verses at the end of Sooratul-Baqarah in the night, they will
suffice him.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
