Haya Is The Beauty Secret That Never Gets Old

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever is shy of Allah
as much as is His due, he should protect his head and that which it comprises (i.e. mind,
mouth, ears), his stomach and that which is adjoining it (i.e. preserve it from unlawful
wealth and protect the private parts from the unlawful), and he should remember death
and that which is to come after it, and whoever desires the Hereafter should abandon the
adornments of this world. Whoever fulfils these duties has been shy of Allah as much as
is His due.”
Haya is an Islamic concept focussing on inner and outer modesty. It is a deep-rooted
belief revolving around one’s faith and isn’t solely restricted to their fashion choices.
Although a large part of modesty is concerned with the clothes a Muslim wears, Haya or

Haya In Islam
Haya is one of the core concepts of Islam that prevents followers from indulging in
indecent or deceitful acts. Whether it’s modesty in clothing, actions, words or thoughts, a

while declaring their faith. Modesty in clothing is becoming increasingly popular among
Muslim men, women and even people with other religious beliefs.
Observing Haya In Garments

Modest fashion is now no longer considered something orthodox or conservative. It has
become a tool empowering women all over the world. It has given them the confidence
and fierceness to take on all tasks while breaking stereotypes. Whether it’s a casual
occasion or a formal event, you can never go wrong with modest clothing. It has the
power to elevate outfits and create flattering silhouettes by adding grace and elegance.
Modesty in fashion is garnering attention from a global audience. The fashion industry is
continually evolving to create sustainable and all-encompassing styles that are both
vogue and modest. Muslim women can now put their best foot forward while maintaining
haya. A symbol of a dutiful Muslim, the haya is the key to success; in this Dunya and the
